I've been wanting to blog about my Hong Kong trip a loong time.. But my fingers were too lazy as always.. But before I start, I wanna share a small yet meaningful experience to me during my trip back from Hong Kong.
I was checking in my luggage.. And since the weight limit of all baggages is 15kg for Airasia, I was crossing my fingers, hoping that it doesnt exceed the limit..cuz I had 5 bottles of chilli sauce and 1 bottle of soy sauce in my luggage.. =.=''.. Or else Iwould hv to pay RM15 for every extra kg.. crazy rite? So when the scale finallly finished jumping and hoppin around, the figures shown were " 14.9kg"!!! I was like O.O''... Thank you God Thank you God...
Then, as I was queing up waiting for my turn to pass through the customs.. I saw these two men in front of me holding MEXICAN passports!! O.o I immediately took out my mask and wore it.. thk goodness they didnt see that.. =X So I thought, nevermind lor.. wont be seeing them around later.. But to my surprise.. they were heading to the same gate as I was, which also means that they were gonna be in MY PLANE!! Sooo, I thought again, nevermind lor... plane only plane only..
I was supposed to reach the gate at 11.05am, cuz my plane departs at 11.30am.. And the guy at the counter told me that the gates would close at 11.05 am, so I was rushing like mad.. And the bad thing abt HK airport is that the check-in counter is at one place and the place for departure is at another place.. so in other to get to the other place I hv to take the train.. When I finally got down from the train, I glanced at my watch n realized it was already 11.15am!!! Oh crap!! I dont wanna miss my plane.. So I started praying and praying and praying.. But in my heart somewhere I knew that God wont lemme miss my plane...
And I was right!! I got on my plane and hurried to my seat.. AND TO MY SURPRISE AGAIN.. one of the MEXICANs was sittin next to my seat.. O.O *pengsan*... so what to do, takkan dont sit meh.. so I sit lor.. =( But thank goodness, halfway through my ride home that guy suddenly went somewhere else to sit.. =DDDD
When I finally got home.. I was wondering whether i have to like quarantine myself or stg for 7 days.. But deep deep down in my heart, I knew that i wont get H1N1.. Cuz I thought, If God somehow let my luggage weight not exceed the limit, and if I could get on the plane even after I was late, I was very sure I would be fine.. And I am!! or I wont b typing this out here today.. It may b a small and simple experience, but Im very thankful to God for keeping me safe during the entire trip in HK.. =)
Thank you Lord..
