Parents...

Has anyone ever realized how funny our parents can be sometimes? Eventhough they're adults and usually we expect them to think rationally/act rationally.. *not*.. they do/say all the stuff we totally dont expect?

Do your parents tell u to drink more water?
Well my mum does..every day without fail.. If there's a day when she doesnt tell me to Im sure Malaysia will be snowing by then...
Everytime she asks me how much water I drank (like I would know), I probably wil say a few cups... So to make sure " a few cups" is exactly 8 cups of water.. She measured it for me..

Mum: Ok.. I measured your bottle for u.. One bottle is exactly 3 cups..So when u go to school make sure u finish this bottle.. Then when u come home.. drink another bottle.. that'll be 6 cups..
Plus two bowls of soup during dinner time wil make it exactly 8 cups.. Ok?

Do your parents tell u to sleep every night?
Yes.. I mean EVERY night..
Well unfortunately for me.. my dad does.. (maybe cuz I NEVER sleep early)
So 1 day he got so tired of tellin me the same stuff over and over again, he recorded everything he wanted to say in his phone, walked into my room, stood in the centre of the room and played it over and over again, then walked out of the room and closed the door..

Dad: Aiyo.. dont study so much.. take a break.. Do u know some people go crazy when they study too much?

When Im watching tv/online etc...

Dad: Why are you watching so much tv? Dont need to study ar? Why do u seem so relaxed these few days?

Do u realize that your parents can ask u the same question over and over again but in different ways when they know they'll still get the same answer?

Mum: What time is the party?
Child: I dont know..
Mum: Did one of your friends call to tell u the time?
Child: No.. or I would have known..
Mum: So what time do I have to fetch u there?
Child : =.='' I dont know what time it starts so how would I know what time u should fetch me there?!?!
Mum: Why didnt u tell me in the first place?
Child: .............. (which part of I dont know do u not understand?!)

And this happened while my mum was upstairs and I was downstairs.. so u can imagine all the shouting...

Well.. what can u say.. they're our PARENTS... If they dont act this way that means they're abnormal.. So I guess we should be thankful they're healthy and normal... =P
