Lets go starbucks.
My last week of PMR drifted away and I had a few visitors from Hong Kong who have come for a sorta mission trip in Malaysia.. There were 4 of them all together, Pastor Chak(my childhood friend Danette's dad), and 3 guys aged between 23 to 28 = Eric, Carl and Henry.. I was surprisingly getting bored after the first week of PMR passed.. Everyday I'll come home from school and just watch tv,eat,more tv,internet,sleep.. That was about it.. But somehow home was better then going to school.. Besides having my friends around with me and the boring movies I somehow look forward to in school, there was nothing else to do then all those boring papers teacher hands out to us.. They even made us complete the "elephant jokes" using the lines given..stupid.. Here's one:~ Why couldnt the elephant fit inside the refridgerator?Because there was a giraffe inside..=.="....lame...
So..the hongkies coming to my house was really something I looked forward to.. At least I'll have something to do.. And less tv.. definitely that.. It was really interesting having them around.. I know its rude,but I just love it when they speak chinese or english or any other language besides cantonese.. its just plain funny and cute in a way..haha.. but the best part is still teaching them how to speak our language.. My dad was mostly the tutor and he taught them "well".. =PSo throughout their stay here, they couldnt stop saying " Saya kacak" (they just loved the word "kacak" as it means cockroach in Cantonese), Dont play play and Good job.. Its like they'll find a space in every conversation to slot these few words in.. And the worse was when my dad taught Eric how to say "Dont fart here".. I burst out laughing when I heard him say it.. To think that Pastor Peter taught him how to say that... hahahaha.. It was fun having them around,even for their age(not that Im saying their old), they act like little boys.. I wonder how my generation of guys will turn out.. seriously wonder... P.S. - Chwee San, I've improved right? I dont think I used any shortforms.. =) Whispers.. 8:22 AM
